Right now, it is summer in SLC. The sun is out, the snow is slushy in the mountains, and sunscreen is flying off the shelves. But last weekend, it was snowing at Brighton for The Third Annual Bomb Hole Cup—though the weather had no impact on the absolute mayhem going down in The Bomb Hole's park showdown.

The park showdown was held on Sunday, April 7th, the second day of the two-day event.

The official word from The Bomb Hole:

Day 2 of our third annual Bomb Hole Cup was ELECTRIC! Our Park Showdown brought out a variety of riders from six year olds to top tier pros. We kicked it off with Groms Class and Open Class in the morning then had the national anthem with a helicopter flyover lead us straight into Mandatory Cab 900s to open up the Pro Class. Before the snow could even settle from Pro and Legend Class put a beat down on the Brighton course we set our eyes on the limo for a Limo Launch to wrap up the cup.

Aiden Hascall and Hailey Langland were the overall winners, taking home 2024 The Bomb Hole Cup and one of snowboarding's most prestigious bragging rights.

Also, look at the size of that crowd! Seeing that many people excited to watch snowboarding is really cool. It's a testament to what Grenier and The Bomb Hole crew are doing. If we had an air horn button to press for them, we would do it. Writing out "bam bam bam bam bammm" doesn't really do the same thing. Regardless, The Bomb Hole Cup is a special snowboarding gathering.
