There are only 10 games on the MLB schedule Thursday, but that doesn't mean we can't find any valuable home run props to target. Let's check out my three favorite players to hit a home run Thursday.
Bryce Harper is in the midst of a power slump. The Philadelphia Phillies slugger hasn't gone yard in 17 straight games, and he has only three homers in 164 plate appearances this season.
But Harper has been hitting the ball hard all series against the Arizona Diamondbacks, and Chase Field is always a hitter's park for lefties. I'll take a shot on the +400.
Dodger Stadium looks to be the friendliest park for home runs on Thursday, as the wind will be blowing strongly out to right center. That leads me to a solid lefty-righty matchup between Freddie Freeman and Dylan Cease. Freeman has two hits in three career at-bats against Cease, and he's belted two homers in his past five games.
I'm interested in fading Yusei Kikuchi Thursday afternoon. The Toronto Blue Jays starter has given up the most home runs in MLB this season (18), and I think he'll add to that total with the wind blowing out to right center at Oriole Park at Camden Yards throughout the day. Gunnar Henderson has hit the second-most homers on the Baltimore Orioles this year with 10, so this is a great price on a solid matchup.
