There are many unknowns for the Denver Broncos and a few other teams as we enter the 2024 NFL Draft. We still can't quite predict what the team will do or what direction it will take. But that is what it's like when Sean Payton is your head coach.
We know they need a head coach, and we have seen several players mocked by the Broncos. However, one in particular keeps showing up more than any other player. In fact, that's pretty much what we are seeing—Bo Nix, the quarterback from Oregon, is going to the Broncos at No. 12.
Recently, he talked about all the chatter about him going to play football by the Rocky Mountains.
"I hope Sean Payton takes you," Kay Adams told Bo Nix.
"I hear that a lot, you know," Nix said. "It would be an honor, like Drew Brees; he won a Super Bowl, had a lot of success, led the league in a lot of statistical categories, and had a lot of really good seasons. I'm never going to argue if I get to play with one of the best coaches of all time, and I'm never going to argue if I get to play with a coach with that much experience."
We think @BoNix10 would be a PERFECT fit with Sean Payton in Denver #BroncosCountry

Nix is our 26th overall prospect on our big board and the fifth overall quarterback in the draft. He has shown comparisons to Derek Carr, which isn't that bad when you look at Carr's total body of work when he was with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Here are his strengths and weaknesses, as well as what the Broncos would be getting if they did draft Nix.
STRENGTHS
WEAKNESSES
The Broncos desperately need a quarterback; however, they need a quarterback who can get them out of the long-term drought.
